SMALL ANGLE NEUTRON SCATTERING BY COMPOSITIONALLY MODULATED AMORPHOUS SEMICONDUCTOR SUPERLATTICES.
Janot Chr., Roth M., Marchal G., Piecuch M.
Proceedings of the Riso International Symposium on Metallurgy an (1985) 467

Superlattices consisting of alternating layers of amorphous silicon and germanium have been studied using small angle scattering techniques with cold neutrons. From the behaviour of the (000) forward scattering satellite during thermal treatment it has been concluded that structural relaxation corresponds to mobility-enhanced behaviour resulting in bulk compaction. Real diffusion does not take place under the experimental conditions.
